Dear Dandy,
Gearing up for a tree trimming party at a downtown apt in Manhattan tomorrow night. Attendees will be a range of TV types to young parents to dressed up hipsters.
I’m looking for some tips on how to navigate this one and be Dandy. I’d say it’s on the dressier side, no tux and tails, but a jacket wouldn’t be out of the equation per say…. Not feeling a tie, but I’ll cross that bridge if need be.
Any last minute suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Why hello, sir! Happy to help. I would say dark jeans, a button down shirt (maybe a v-neck sweater) a blazer, and toss in a pocket square to Dandy it up. A simple handkerchief will do or even some extra colorful fabric you have laying around will suffice. Hope this helps. Oh, and polished dress shoes if you have them. Have fun!
