We are having a slightly more casual New Year’s this year, just dinner at Bacchus (one of our favorite downtown restaurants) and an after party at a friends house. So I wanted to dress up, but not go all out with a tux and all that jazz. I’ve been loving this Blue Velvet Blazer of mine, and thought I would class it up with a nice satin bow tie and these fantastic cufflinks the wife bought me for a wedding gift. I rarely get to wear them out and figured New Years was just the perfect venue. Followed by a bottle of our favorite champagne, I’m rather looking forward to ringing in the New Year with family and friends.
Also, a reminder to all Buffalonians out there to be safe and don’t drink and drive. Designated Drivers of Buffalo are offering free rides home from Midnight to 4 a.m. Just call 716-713-7703. And if you cab it home, just be sure to tip your driver a little extra. It is New Years after all.
