The week is winding down and Edward Sharpe and The Magnetic Zeros have provided the perfect soundtrack for the weekend. Slightly switching gears from their previous album of “hypnotic gospel pop to overt folksy gospel revival”, Here channels the musical stylings of Johnny Cash/June Carter with John Lennon/Yoko Ono. Full of slower, softer vocal jams, this album is perfect for Summer. Give it a listen and check out the video for the first single “Man on Fire” below.
