The wife, in-laws and I headed to Letchworth State Park this weekend, also known as the Grand Canyon of the East. Meandering through the peak Autumn foliage, we had a fantastic time learning about the history of the park as well it’s late inhabitants William Letchworth and Mary Jemison known as “The White Indian of the Genesee”. As the sun disappeared behind the clouds, our sight-seeing interests diminished with the lowering temperature, so we retired to the Glen Iris Inn for a lovely lunch overlooking the Falls. Check out more Park photos after the jump.
