There are plenty of shirting options out there for Fall… Now, with the introduction of so many online shirting companies, the options seem even more endless. I’ve compiled a few of my favorite Fall pieces from several retailers I’ve been following. Hopefully, this will help narrow down the field a bit and add some new button downs to your wardrobe.
The Blue Callan by Ledbury - An incredibly comfortable brushed cotton oxford from Tessitura Monti. It’s an ideal cold weather utility shirt with double breast pockets and a shortened tail, allowing it to be worn untucked. Ledbury is perhaps one of the most famous in the group, and their notoriety is well deserved. Featured constantly in publications like GQ and Esquire, Ledbury offers a superior fit and quality which makes them a favorite go-to shirt for any season. $135
Lochner Shirt in Deepwood by Frank & Oak - A rougher, grainy plaid that imbues your look with a raw, vintage feel. The unique colors will stand out when paired with dark denim. Features button-down collar, straight-edge cuffs, and front chest pocket. 100% cotton. If you haven’t subscribed to Frank & Oak yet, you really need to. Every month the Montreal-based company designs, manufactures and curates it’s own collection of fine clothing and accessories with most items priced below $50. $45
Battle Road Plaid by Concord Button Downs – Made in the USA, these 100% cotton button downs are a new addition to the online shirt retailer game. Based out of Massachusetts, Concord Buttons Downs embrace New England quality and style made right here in the U.S.A. CBD has also partnered with Ellen’s Heart and Soul, a local charity that receives a donated portion of each sale to improve the lives of women battling breast cancer. With October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month, now is a perfect time to not only get a great shirt, but to also support a great cause. $130
