Just reading over Park & Bond’s latest interview with GQ Creative Director Jim Moore who, over the last 30 years, has become one of the most influential men in American menswear.

When asked what he thinks is next for menswear, Jim has this to say:

“I think things are going to start getting a little more Dandy. I don’t have a crystal ball, but if we’re having this conversation a year from now we might be talking British. We’re going to go back to a ticket pocket on your suit jacket, and pant cuffs, and monkstrap shoes, and a brighter pink dress shirt with a bottle green tie. Also, there’s a word I’ve been using around here, and I can’t wrap my head around if I think it’s a good word, but the word is swanky. It’s taking that extra care, whether it’s to wear a cooler pair of sunglasses, or a turtleneck with a suit, or a brightly colored sock. Those head-turning elements. There’s a big ‘70s vibe out there. And you’ll see it in our pages over the next few months.”

So get ready for GQ to get a little more Dandified in the coming months. As usual, Buffalo Dandy will keep bringing you the latest and greatest in its ongoing effort of make Buffalo just a little more Dandy.

For now, just wanted to thank everyone for reading.

Here are some shots from James Marsden’s spread in the upcoming September issue of GQ. Some great upcoming color combinations and the I’m totally digging the slimmer cut tweed suits. While I may not be down with the tucking in of the tie look, I am 100% on board with the tweed and checkered shirt combo with matching sock highlights. Officially stoked for Fall. Thanks GQ.

PS. Check out his skinny tie bar.
