My good friend and fellow Dandy Mr. Pentheros did me the honor of reviewing several of this years best Oktoberfest Biers. Subsequently, he is also one of the organizers of Man’s Night, a local event held annually in Lockport, NY. It was conceived and designed to get men (and Dandy’s) together for a night of good drink, good company and better food. More on Man’s Night coming soon… For now, onto the beer. Huzzah!

I broke them down by nose, color and taste, giving my personal take and grade. This list is heavy on local brews because of the rising popularity of “Oktoberfest” style lagers which is largely a Northeastern thing (due to the uniqueness of our Autumn season, comparatively speaking with the rest of the country). And I think we all like promoting all things local…
