Super stoked for fellow dandy Dan Gigante and his company You and Who for winning Crowley Webbs Twenty-Five Hour Workday Contest. Partnering with Business First, the contest awards an ad campaign to a local startup which is produced in one marathon, non-stop 25 hour day in honor of Crowley Webb’s 25th Anniversary.

Founded in September 2010, You and Who works with artists from around the country to design custom t-shirts. For each sold, the company donates matching items and meals to organizations that help those in need.

There is even a tee designed by Buffalo Dandy on the You and Who site that Dan happens to be wearing today in the above photo. Sweet!

Congrats Dan! This is a great cause and I can’t wait to see what they come up with. Keep up the great work.

Sunday was a busy day. We had to travel back from Albany (after a late-night arrival from Vermont the night before), get home, unpack, get dressed, stop by a friends holiday party, and then head downtown for the 6th Annual Catwalk for Charity. Held at the Town Ballroom, the event is put on by Sabres goalie Ryan Miller and The Steadfast Foundation which helps families overcome the challenges of battling cancer. This years country-western theme “Wrangling for a Cause” allowed me to dust off the ol’ cowboy hat and hobnob with Sabres players, owners and local celebs. High atop our VIP lounge we enjoyed all the sights and sounds the evening had to offer like Rick Jeanneret dressing up as Dolly Parton, the wife meeting her favorite player Jochen Hecht (who oddly knows my cousin in Germany) and Derek Roy singing “Save a Horse, Ride a Cowboy”. The night was concluded after a few too many drinks and a late-night stop at Jim’s Steakout, which resulted in a less-than-Dandy Monday morning hangover.  Next time, I think they should have this event on a Saturday… Check out photos from the event after the jump.
