[via selectism.com]

Been somewhat ho-hum over all the Pitti stuff that’s been coming out. Don’t get me wrong, the stuff looks great, but I haven’t seen too much that made me stop and say “cooool” That is until I saw this post on selectism.com on Italian company Tabarro, who specialize making modern day cloaks. Yes. Cloaks. I’ve been waiting for these to come back into fashion forever!

In addition to these beautiful cloaks, Tabarro is also showcasing a nice collection of men’s outerwear and footwear at Pitti. I’m loving the white spatted boots and leather lace-ups. Their website is pretty tough to navigate since it’s in Italian, and it’s an agonizingly slow flash site, so be prepared for a lot of preloaders. But it’s still worth a click through to check out some of their handsomely made garments.

Come to think of it, with this not quite winter weather we’ve been having, with more rain than snow, I think a cloak would be the perfect garment for this type of weather.
