A straw fedora is a solid staple in Dandy’s Spring/Summer wardrobe. With seemingly endless options available, fit and quality should be the main things you look for. This fedora from New Era Cap’s EK line has a great pop of color in the band, and of course New Era’s quality and attention to detail is unmatched. Several options are available online, but for the best selection, I suggest stopping by one of New Era’s Flagship Stores for the latest releases.

I’ve been looking for a new pair of navy boat shoes for a little while and found these yesterday at the Bass Outlet Store. I made the puppy a festive Bow Tie for his photo with the Easter Bunny (yeah, we’re those people… whatever, it was free) and thought I would feature him today for Bow Tie Friday. I was actually amazed he managed to sit still next to this somewhat Donnie Darko looking-esque Bunny. Thing looks like something out of Star Wars… Anyway, happy Bow Tie Friday everyone!

Trying out my new chinos from Brooks Brothers today but wanted to dress them down a bit. A navy polo, tan blazer and sock-less loafers seemed the way to go.

This Sunday marks 100 years since the sinking of the RMS Titanic. In remembrance of that fateful night, Salvatore’s Italian Gardens Restaurant is recreating the final menu served to the first class passengers this Sunday at 4pm. While it is a somber theme, the food and wine pairings seem fantastic and it sounds like a very elegant evening. Best hurry though, there are only a few tickets left.
