While exploring the Chelsea Market two weeks back while in NYC, I was immediately drawn to a very Dandy looking table which housed some fine looking shirts, ties and other accessories. It was there that I was introduced to Jeffery Zhang, the owner of Spectre & Co. The New York-based clothing company prides itself on offering incredibly well crafted items without the retail markup. Allowing for the same high quality garments to be sold at a fraction of the cost. After looking over their table I must say I was extremely impressed. The shirts have a great slim silhouette and buttery softness thanks to their high thread count. The attention to detail paid the the various collar and fabric choices were great and their tie collection is the perfect combo of width and seasonal fabric choices (but not yet available online). After chatting with Jeffery for a bit, he even offered me a sneak peek at their over coat that they will be releasing soon. I loved the contrast color used on the stitching and piping, plus the cut looks dead on. I highly recommend checking out their online store and if you happen to find yourself in the Chelsea Market, stop by their booth. You will not be disappointed.
